About

Andrew Barr is a historic documentation photographer who works using HABS (Historic American Building Survey) Standards.

He has photographed for the Providence Preservation Society, Historic New England, and the documentation class at the Boston Architectural College, and has created photographs used in hearings before the Massachusetts Historical Commission.

Current Project — Five Years

Local History In Disrepair

A five-year effort to document buildings across the United States and into the eastern provinces of Canada that are in need of repair — structures that carry local history, and are at risk of losing it.
